Pearl Interactive Network recently supported the USO/Hire Heroes USA Career Opportunity Day on April 3 at Fort Belvoir. Career Opportunity Days are non-traditional career fairs with the intent of matching participating employers with wounded, ill, and injured veterans within the range of the veteran’s geographic preference.
Pearl Interactive’ s team, represented by Bill Errico, VP Federal Practice, Joell Iskander, Recruiter II, and Lee Barkalow, Federal Business Development Assistant, shared career tips and best practices with veteran participants to prepare them for interviews with the 15 employers in attendance.
The Pearl team assisted participating employers with identifying qualified candidates, while at the same time facilitating a positive experience with veteran job candidates as they move towards re-entering the job market.
